RideLondon: Wild, a placer

La holandesa Kirsten Wild ha hecho valer su condición de velocista y rodadora para imponerse en en sprint masivo en la RideLondon, 16ª prueba puntuable del UCI World Tour sobre la testimonial distancia de 65 kilómetros sobre un circuito urbano en la capital británica. Un formato que dista mucho del que debería tener deportivamente la primera división del ciclismo mundial y que sirvió de preámbulo a la cita masculina dominical sobre el recorrido olímpico de 2012 donde venció Vinokourov a Urán.



La campeona del mundo de pista le dio una alegría su equipo Wiggle que ha anunciado su adiós a finales de esta campaña. La oro europea Marianne Vos y la italiana Elisa Balsamo completaron el podio de una prueba en la que la única española participante fue la riojana Sheyla Gutiérrez que acabó en el puesto 76º.
