Matthew Brennan es el primer líder de 75ª edición de La Flecha del Sur luxemburguesa que este 2026 se estrena en la categoría 2.1 UCI. El británico del Visma neerlandés -único equipo de primera división- se ha adjudicado la primera etapa en Stadtbredimus tras solo 94 kilómetros.
Roy Hoogendoorn (Metec) y Tobias Risan Nakken (Drali) completaron el podio parcial. Álvaro Sagrado, el único español en liza, acabó el 59º de la jornada en el mismo tiempo.
