Remco Evenepoel ganó la tercera etapa de este Tour de Noruega. En un final con muchos ataques en los últimos cinco kilómetros, el corredor del Quick-Step aprovechó la ventaja que consiguió en el último kilómetro para irse en solitario y lograr así la victoria en la tercera jornada. Repite triunfo, ya que también ganó la primera etapa al sprint en esta presente edición.
El segundo corredor en entrar a meta fue Jay Vine, seguido de Lucas Plapp, que completó el pódium. El mejor español fue Jonathan Lastra entrando en 12º posición en esta tercera etapa del Tour de Noruega. Precisamente, el pódium de esta tercera etapa es idéntico que el de la clasificación general. Evenepoel, tras ganar la primera y tercera etapa, es líder indiscutible distanciando en 46 segundos a Jay Vine. Tras este último, Lucas Plapp a 1:24 de Remco.
En cuanto a los españoles, el primero es Jonathan Lastra en el puesto 16º. Eduard Prades sigue entrando en el Top20 (es 19º) tras su buena actuación en la primera etapa de esta edición en la que entró tercero en meta.

Evenepoel: «Estoy feliz, fue un día bastante largo con los bordillos y el pase final. Con Kasper Asgreen y los demás también, pero especialmente Asgreen, pude mantenerme en contacto con el primer grupo. Siempre es más fácil cuando un El ganador del Tour de Flandes los vigila. Estoy orgulloso de concluir su trabajo. Hoy ganamos, tenemos la ventaja, lo que debería hacer que los próximos días sean más fáciles. Realmente no sé a cuántos kilómetros de la meta aceleré, pero noté que los demás estaban en bruto. Me sorprendió poder mantener esta intensidad durante tanto tiempo. Ataqué de nuevo, había viento lateral, era más difícil para los demás. No estaba muy seguro de mi ventaja sobre Jay Vine, así que volví a acelerar para asegurarme de tener cierta ventaja. Siempre es más fácil tener el maillot de líder»
