4ª Emakumeen Bira: Longo-Borghini, a lo campeona

La italiana Elisa Longo Borghini se ha adjudicado la general final de la Emakumeen Bira, ronda española del World Tour femenino, tras atacar en la última cota puntuable y mantener la ventaja suficiente para llevarse la cuarta y última etapa y la txapela definitiva con apenas 2 segundos pero suficientes ante Amanda Spratt. Trek resolvió el duelo ante Mitchelton. 

Mavi García -más líder del TOP Ciclo 21– fue la mejor española en la general -su compañera Sheyla Gutiérrez rozó el podio en la etapa final- en la quinta plaza con Ane Santesteban (8ª), Eider Merino (9ª) y Cristina Martínez cerrando las diez mejores de la prueba vasca.
